DIY Exhaust Fan Enclosure that enables exhaust air filtration, cooling with out airconditioning, and providing a weather seal for the garage when cooling isn't needed. The plan set specifies the hardware I used but the approach can be fittted to any fan. I use mine to pull the air from the floor above into the garage and to the outside. The enclosure and the cost of the fann will pay for its self in airconditioning savings before the summer is out. I designed it to accept a 1 " filter that fits into a channel and against a hardware cloth/insect screen so hat I can spray paint in the garage. The fan is silent when I'm in the spaces on the first floor and I can feel the air moving through the house. I enjoy the air movement more than airconditioning and I really like the lower power bill. The project is described materially, dimensionally, and operationally. A Govee wifi  smart plug allows an Alexa connection which is helpful.
